I live a fairly unusual lifestyle. I'm not one of these people who insists on a certain kind of existence - mine varies from one moment to the next. I worked in the Diplomatic Service for a few years where 5-star hotels and dinner with the President of France was part of the normal routine, whereas a couple of days later, I'd be sleeping on the back seat of a car in a layby on the side of the road. Strangely enough, I was more at home on the back seat of the car too.
My civilian life these days varies between camping out in an apartment under renovation, sleeping in the back of a van, and living in a caravan on a derelict farm with nothing but a couple of wind turbines and solar panels for company.
All of this has spawned some pretty interesting adventures, many of which are documented on the web pages that you will find below. Have a good browse through if you have time.
When I have the time, I'll put up some more pages of interesting items.
I also lead an interesting life in France, and I'm putting up some pages of my home (powered completely by remewable energy such as wind turbines and solar panels), my projects, and some of the events that take place there. You'll need to visit my other web site for that.
